Champ Rocher : Fishing regulations.

You can hire your personal lake for fishing at “Champ Rocher” situated in the department called “Indre” and known as the “Land of a thousand Lakes”.

Arrangement
Champ Rocher covers an area of 113 hectares or 280 acres. The largest lake has a surface of 6 hectares or 15 acres and is stocked with carps ranging from 15 to 30 pounds.
The surface of the other lakes varies between 3 to 5 ha or 7,5 to 12,5 acres. All are also stocked with carp, pike, pike perch and roach.

Tariffs for campers
• 200€ per fisherman per week
• 5€ per day for non-fishers

 

Regulations
• a maximum of 4 rods per fisherman
• only non-barbed hooks
• large unhooking mats
• separated weighting slings
• green tents
• no twisted lines
• secondary lines must be thinner than the principal ones
• safety system must be employed
• survival bags can be used for night fishing but must be removed at the latest one hour after sunrise (this will be checked and controlled by the guardian)
• only boilie and cooked maize are allowed (nuts and grains are prohibited)
• wounds must be disinfected

Accommodation
• hiring of rooms and/or a guesthouse (accommodating 2 to 16 persons is possible).
• for campers sanitary facilities are available (shower, toilet, lavabo and refrigerator)
• bread can be reserved on a daily basis.
